Kenneth La Valley
Ken serves as the Vice Provost and Online Learning Officer at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where he oversees the university's growing online portfolio and continuing education offerings. Ken assumed this role in May 2024 after resigning as Dean & Director of UNH Cooperative Extension, a position he held since 2014. During his tenure, Ken was responsible for developing the university's micro-credentialing strategy, creating pathways from non-degree to degree programs. His prior roles at UNH include Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement, Associate Director for Outreach at the School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering, and Associate Director of the NH Sea Grant College Program.
Ken's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from UNH, a Master of Science in Fisheries, Animal, and Veterinary Science, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Rhode Island.
