A New Vision for Online Learning at UNH

A New Vision for Online Learning at UNH
online learning for working professionals

A Word from Scott Stanley, Dean of Online Learning

I am delighted to serve as the first Dean of Online Learning at the University of New Hampshire. The creation of this new position demonstrates the university’s commitment to our strategic vision of expanding online education opportunities and enhancing our students’ virtual experience.

UNH is integrating a wealth of expertise from two well-established organizations – Granite State College and UNH Online – to create a unified online infrastructure across all USNH campuses. Leveraging the advantages of small class sizes, faculty distinguished in their field, personalized instruction, and high-engagement technological platforms, we will continue to provide New Hampshire and the region with access to online education that meets their quality expectations.

Our success is measured by our students’ success. Designed to provide the support that predicates that success, UNH Online resources such as technical assistance, writing services, library resources, and student success coaches are key elements of an integrated system meant to foster a seamless education experience.

UNH is engaged in a broad-reaching vision of offering online learning to students across the region and around the world. We are excited about expanding the opportunities for a high-quality but uniquely personalized education that meets the needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s challenges.
