UNH recently transitioned from its current learning management system (LMS), Blackboard, to a new system called myCourses powered by Canvas. It is important for students to thoroughly review and make sure their computer meets the established set of minimum software and hardware requirements for both Blackboard and MyCourses prior to taking an online course. Although you may be able to participate in an online course if you do not use a computer meeting the minimum specifications detailed below, you will have a better chance of success if you do.
Review MyCourses Minimum Computer Specifications.
Ensure you are using a MyCourses Supported Web Browser to access the Internet.
NOTE: If your online course or program requires live class times (a.k.a., synchronous sessions) you will need to have a camera and headset available for use.
If you have technical questions call (603) 862-4242 Monday through Friday between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or send your question to https://itsupport.unh.edu/onlinelearning
You can find online documentation for Canvas and other Academic Technology-supported services on the UNH Information Technology Knowledge Base.
